“We were recommended EDK Carpentry and Joinery by our builder, who went as far as to say it would be worth delaying our work if it meant we would secure the firm’s services. I’m very happy to say he was right and ‘excellence’ is the only fitting word to describe the level of the work done: both in terms of finished product and the service provided. From our first meeting, when Edward and Dave came to measure up the job, it was clear how much care was going to be taken: a feeling reinforced by the detailed e-mails and drawings which we subsequently received. We always felt in safe hands, which was important to us given the permanence of the work being done: alcove cabinets and shelving in our living room, and floor to ceiling alcove bookshelves in a bedroom. The recommendations made to us were good ones and any changes we wanted were readily incorporated. When it came to doing the work, the guys were simply a pleasure to have in our home. The general expense of moving property meant that it was quite a big decision for us to stretch and get a proper joinery firm in to do the work we needed, rather than opting for a more basic carpenter. Again, I’m so glad we made that choice. It gives a great sense of satisfaction and happiness having such lovely craftsmanship in our home.
