E.D.K Carpentry & Joinery is owned and run by Edward who is a first class bespoke Carpenter/Joiner and cabinet maker with over 22 years of experience. He was born and raised in North London and developed a passion for his chosen trade from a very early age due to a family background in joinery.

Over the years he has gained great experience and knowledge by working on numerous projects such as, prestigious new build property developments, 16th and 17th century barn conversions, house extensions and loft conversions. These early projects built a solid knowledge base and full understanding of working to strict deadlines and alongside other trades to tie in seamlessly. Edward’s main goal and passion was always with bespoke joinery and furniture. He set up his own firm carrying out a vast array of high end fitted furniture projects along with beautiful hardwood joinery such as handmade front entry doors and gates, handmade kitchens plus much much more.

Now, as an established and highly regarded joiner and furniture maker, Edward takes pride in offering a first class and fully comprehensive service throughout London, Essex and Hertfordshire. Along side new clients, Edward carries out a large amount of work that has come by word of mouth and therefore reputation is very important to him. As a result he is very committed in providing a friendly, honest and reliable service with his client’s satisfaction being the ultimate goal.

E.D.K Carpentry & Joinery carries out projects for both, trade and domestic clientele. As we are regularly working within our customer’s homes, we go to great lengths to work as efficiently as possible and take extra care of our surroundings by placing poly backed dust sheets and all of our tools are plugged into class leading dust extractors. We also try to carry out as much of any given project within our purpose built workshop so that the minimal amount of time is spent while carrying out installations and any cutting is kept to the absolute minimum.
